Quality Standard
Two grades, one standard. Definitions of OEM Pull and OEM New as supplied by HD.
Every part supplied by HD is an OEM component. It is offered in one of two grades, and both pass the same inspection and carry the same warranty.
Pulled components are the parts the device was manufactured with. Their quality is established, and a function test confirms it before dispatch.
Manufactured for the device, not reproduced for the aftermarket.
Confirmed by inspection and function test on our line.
Stocked across the range, so orders are placed by model and part rather than by current availability.
The market term “brand new” covers both genuine new components and re-soldered pulls. HD does not supply the latter under any grade.
Under any designation.
Repaired pulls are not supplied under the HD label.
Parts that fail inspection are withdrawn and are not relabelled.
It has been fitted to a device before. Parts with damaged connectors, creased flex cables or a failed test are withdrawn.
No. HD does not sell through any manufacturer programme. OEM New designates new, unused components tested by HD and covered by the HD warranty.
It behaves as a part from another device of the same model and is reported as a used part. Pairing depends on the part and the iOS version; the sales team advises per model.
OEM Pull, unless the end customer specifies new. Both grades carry the same label, test and warranty.
On photo and video evidence, a credit is issued against the next order. See Warranty and After-sales.
By model or by part. OEM Pull listed first.
